GBG is part of a larger network of companies, particularly a larger family of companies. This group of companies consists of divisions that focus on different aspects of building a community. Genesis Land Development Corp (parent company) is responsible for developing the land on which all else is built upon. The commercial division of Genesis Land Development designs the commercial space and the Generations Group of Companies, also a part of the Genesis family, is responsible for designing and building multi-family units. This leaves single family homes the sole responsibility of GBG.

Why is this larger family of companies important? Once could say… Who cares? GBG does. What makes Genesis stand out from some of the builders in this region is that Genesis as a whole has the capacity to completely build the structure and infrastructure of an entirely new community – in house. Sort of like a one stop shop in home building. What good are new homes if there is no shopping or schools for kids? GBG and Genesis as whole, is about teamwork. That is teamwork with each other, with other divisions and trades/suppliers and as equally important, with homeowners. Building homes is a tremendous investment for everyone involved. Since 2005, GBG has built over 550 homes in the communities of Kincora, Sherwood, Taralake and Bayside. We are currently building brand new communities Saddlestone (NE Calgary) and Sage Meadows (NW Calgary).
